Earlier this month, California Appellate Law Group* Chairman Ben Feuer moderated a discussion with the clerks of court and chief administrators of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the California Supreme Court, and the First District of the California Court of Appeal on the state of the appellate courts nearly 6 months into the COVID-19 pandemic.

The panelists discussed the court practices and procedures that have changed, how well their courts and judges or justices have been coping, and what they see coming in the months ahead.

The Bar Association of San Francisco, which hosted the panel, has made the program viewable free of charge as a service to the appellate bar. You can watch the program by clicking here. (For CLE credit, however, you’ll need to purchase the program off BASF’s website.)

*In July 2022, the California Appellate Law Group was renamed the Complex Appellate Litigation Group.
