U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best Law Firms guide has named the California Appellate Law Group* a “Tier 1” appellate practice at the national level, placing it among the very best appellate firms anywhere in the country. It has also named CALG a “Tier 1” appellate practice in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The recognition establishes CALG as one of the top appellate specialty firms in the nation — and acknowledges that the firm’s appellate lawyers are considered particularly skilled in California’s high-stakes legal markets.

According to U.S. News, its “rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in the field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.”
