The Complex Appellate Litigation Group is thrilled to welcome retired California Court of Appeal Justice Pat Benke to the firm.
Prior to joining CALG, Pat served in the Court of Appeal’s Fourth District for more than three decades. She was the youngest appellate justice ever in California when appointed, and the first woman in her Division. During her tenure, Pat heard thousands of appeals and authored hundreds of published opinions on virtually all areas of California law.

Pat will be based in the firm’s San Diego office, but will work on appeals, appellate writs, and litigation consulting projects across the state.
She will be CALG’s 25th appellate lawyer.
